Delete your Chupke account.

In the app

1. Open Chupke and tap your initial at the top right to open your profile.
2. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
3. Type DELETE and tap Delete my account.

On the web

Sign in with the same account you use in the app, then confirm.

Can’t sign in? Email support@chupke.app from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll check it’s you and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What’s deleted

• Your profile, username and personal link
• Every note in your inbox, your replies, and your link’s numbers
• Your wisps (and copies others kept), the warmth you gave, and your Kindred
• Messages you sent in chats, and every photo you added, files included
• Games you hosted, with their answers
• Your notifications and devices, your Plus record, and your sign-in. We also ask RevenueCat, which tracks store subscriptions for us, to delete your purchase history.

What we keep, and why

• Reports you made or that were made about you, and what they point to (no longer linked to your account), until 90 days after they’re resolved. This keeps people safe and lets us answer the police when we must.
• Payment records the law asks us to keep. A Golden Note someone paid to send you keeps only its payment details, without its words or any link to you.
• A record that the deletion happened, under a one-way fingerprint of your account, not your name or email.
• If your account was banned, a one-way fingerprint of its email, so a ban can’t be undone by deleting.

The people you chatted with keep their own messages; yours disappear and the chat closes. Notes you sent to other people as a guest were never linked to your account, so they stay with the people you sent them to. More in our Privacy Policy.
