If you or someone else is in danger right now

Report something

Reports are private. The person you report is never told who reported them.

A note

Open the note, tap the ••• menu at the top right, then Report this note. It leaves your inbox straight away.

A wisp

Open the wisp, tap the ••• menu, then Report this wisp. It leaves your sky.

A chat

In the chat, tap the ••• menu at the top, then Report. We see the recent messages so we can act.

A game answer

On your round, open the answer’s menu and choose Report. Guests can report a reply from the result page.

Something else, like an account pretending to be you, or a link shared somewhere it shouldn’t be? Email support@chupke.app with the username or link.

No account? You can still report illegal content. Email support@chupke.app with the link, what it is, why you think it’s illegal, and your name.

Block someone

  • A note sender: open the note, tap •••, then Block this sender. Their notes stop reaching you from that phone or browser, and from their network for a week. They aren’t told.
  • Someone on Wisps or in a chat: choose Block this person or Block. You won’t see each other’s wisps again, and any chat between you closes.
  • Don’t want Golden Notes at all? Switch them off in your profile. Plain notes still arrive.
  • Want a break from everything? Stop sharing your link for a while, or turn notifications off in your profile.

What happens after you report

  1. Reported content is taken out of your inbox, sky or chat straight away.
  2. A person on our safety team reviews it. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days, usually much sooner.
  3. If it breaks our Community Guidelines, we act: removing it, warning or banning the account, or blocking the sender’s device and network.
  4. We tell you what we decided. The person whose content was removed is told what we did, which rule it broke, and how to ask us to look again. They’re never told who reported it.
  5. Intimate images shared without consent are dealt with within 2 hours. Anything that impersonates you, within 24 hours.
  6. If someone is at risk, or the law requires it, we contact the police or the right authority. We report child sexual abuse material.

We keep a copy of what was reported until 90 days after the report is resolved, then delete it.

Complaints and appeals

Think we got a decision wrong, about your content, your account or something you reported? Reply to our message or write to support@chupke.app. A person looks again, we acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days. In the UK and the EU, this is also how to complain under the Online Safety Act and the Digital Services Act; our Terms explain how we protect users.
